  1. Privacy Policy and Terms of Use
  • The Recovery Room collects certain information from you including: name, address, phone numbers, email address(es), username, password and club membership number, interests and preferences, date of birth, demographic information (including gender, marital status, and income level), emergency contact information, billing information, employer name, address and phone number, and guest’s contact information (collectively referred to as “Information”). In certain instances, the Recovery Room may also collect Protected Health Information from you.  This Privacy Policy does not extend to Protected Health Information which will remain secure, and will be subject to the HIPAA privacy notice.
  • How we collect information.  If you choose to supply us with your personal information, we will use that information only consistently with this Privacy Policy.  We automatically collect information online such as your Internet Service Provider and IP address, the site that you report having been referred from, and time of access. We also collect information through “cookies.” A “cookie” is a small file containing a string of characters that is sent to your computer when you visit one of our websites. When you visit the website again, the cookie allows that site to recognize your browser and customize your experience. Your Protected Health Information may also be shared with the Recovery Room’s business associates including IntakeQ, Dropbox, and Square who are also subject to the HIPAA privacy regulations.   We do not knowingly reveal any personal information that is provided by our customers through our website to any third parties except as provided in this Privacy Policy, unless requested to do so by a governmental agency having jurisdiction, by a court of competent jurisdiction or other operation of law, or when we believe that disclosure is necessary or appropriate to prevent physical harm or financial loss in connection with an investigation of suspected or actual illegal activity.
  • How we use your information. If you provide your personal information to us, we may use that information in regards to your Membership, send you newsletters, information or promotions related to the Recovery Room and its services and/or products.  In some instances, you may receive information or promotions about products or services offered by another company.  You may choose to opt-out from receiving promotional materials from us at any time. You can opt-out of receiving emails by clicking on an “opt-out” link provided at the bottom of an email that you receive from us or emailing us at  To the extent you disclose any personal information in user provided content areas of the Web Site (e.g., user forums), such information may be accessible by the general public.   • The Recovery Room employs other websites and software applications including but not limited to: Dropbox for the secured transmission of health information and questionnaires; IntakeQ for reception, booking appointments and check-in; and Square for payment and collection of payment information. We are not responsible for the content or the privacy practices employed by any third party websites. We encourage you to read the privacy policies of these websites before transmitting any personal information. The Recovery Room has no control over these policies and therefore disclaims all liability for how these sites may use your personal information.
  • We reserve the right to transfer any Information we have about you in the event we sell or transfer all or a portion of our business or assets. Should a sale or transfer occur, we will use reasonable efforts to direct the transferee to use the personal information you have provided through this website in a manner that is consistent with this Privacy Policy.
  • We do not seek Information from children. If you are under 13, you should not provide us with any information without the involvement of a parent or guardian. A parent or guardian may register a child age 14 or over to visit or join the Recovery Room.
